About Us

Our Logo Tells a Story

With a Pacific Northwest twist, our imagery draws from the “Tree of Virtues” found in medieval Christian art, where each branch represents a moral strength that helps a life flourish.

Seven points of on our tree branches mark seven Christian virtues. Three theological virtues – faith, hope and love – rise above the trunk symbolizing that these virtues are uniquely imbued by and formed in partnership with the Holy Spirit. Four cardinal virtues – firmly rooted in the trunk – represent wisdom, justice, courage, and temperance.

The tree grows out of an open book, symbolizing how classrooms, when intentionally curated, serve as a fertile ground for the deep roots and habits required for character formation. An encircling ring reminds us that virtue is both cultivated in and for community.
